Welcome!
Welcome to REID it! Be prepared to have an enjoyable time this school year, but you MUST bring your creative energy and intriguing mind with you. You will be challenged, and we will grow together here at Douglas County High School. Please take the time to review the syllabus for the course you're enrolled in, as you are expected to be very knowledgeable of classroom and school policies.
Nuisance Items & Cell Phones
Any electronic device visible in class is subject to a discipline referral. Consequences will result in detention, ISS, and OSS depending on the number of infractions. The use of cell phones, unless directed to do so by the teacher for instructional purposes (BYOT), is prohibited. If a cell phone is visible, DCHS reserves the right to CONFISCATE it. All confiscated cell phones will be turned into the office before the end of the school day. Classes will not be interrupted in order to retrieve a cell phone.
